Helping to Elect Democrats Across NC
The core mission of the College Democrats of North Carolina is to empower young people to become involved in the political process and electing Democrats across our state. Our duty of supporting a diverse slate of organizers, activists, and candidates didn’t stop in November 2020, which is why we’re excited to announce the Grassroots Fellowship, CDNC’s newest program established to elect Democrats to local office across North Carolina in 2026.

Hi y'all! I’m a Junior at NC State University, currently studying Political Science and Philosophy. Outside of political stuff, I enjoy photography, hiking, watching movies, and playing ping pong!
A fun fact about me is that I plan to visit every county in North Carolina this summer and that I'm currently learning to play guitar.

JOEY MELONE
Hey hey! I’m a Freshmen at UNC Greensboro, currently studying Political Science and Government.
I have prior experience as a House and Senate Page at the North Carolina General Assembly, and both volunteer and professional political experience on 30+ campaigns since 2021.

I’m a sophomore at Western Carolina University, studying Political Science and Philosophy. I’m originally from Greensboro, NC - with two younger brothers there and a twin sister at Salem College.
I enjoy playing guitar, hiking the Smokies, and building Legos.
